Christmas Help & Information
If I can’t get there because of inclement weather?
Unless the Resort is forced to close due to the inclement weather, we will not be able to refund or transfer bookings.
Can you offer transport?
We do not operate transport to or from Tŷ Hotel Magor or The Parkgate Hotel. However complimentary shuttle transfers are available to guests staying overnight at Tŷ Hotel Newport or Coldra Court Hotel and attending a party night at Celtic Manor Resort or ICC Wales.
Resort shuttle buses are limited and run from the main Resort Hotel, golf clubs, Hunter Lodges and the Newbridge on Usk. Please note shuttle bus transfer for Newbridge on Usk are available to guests with a dinner reservation only and excludes New Year’s Eve.
Do I have to pay for parking?
Yes, all of our carparks are chargeable. View charges
How do I order a taxi?
Taxis can be booked from the main reception desk.
Will there be live entertainment in Merlin’s Bar?
At present, we plan on running Merlin’s usual entertainment schedule. More details will become available closer to the festive season.
I’m going to one of your restaurants, what should I wear?
Guests are required to wear smart casual clothing at some of our restaurants. View the individual restaurant pages for more details.
Can you send me a Christmas brochure?
We do not have a printed Christmas brochure, though all information relating to festive stays, dining and party nights can be found on our website here.
How do I inform you of dietary requirements?
Please advise a member of staff on the day of your visit of any vegetarian, vegan or allergen dietary requirements.
I don’t like the menu. Can you provide something else?
Whilst we will make every effort to cater for all dietary requirements, we are unable to provide alternatives to the set menu outside of those requirements.

How do I reduce the number of people in my party?
Please contact the events team on 01633 410 252 to reduce the numbers within your party. Please note that all deposits are non refundable and non transferable
What are your payment terms?
Unless otherwise stated, no deposit is required at the time of booking. Your credit card details will be retained as a guarantee up until the dining date.
How do I inform you of dietary requirements?
Please advise a member of staff on the day of your visit of any vegetarian, vegan or allergen dietary requirements.

Full prepayment or a £25 deposit is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated. If a deposit is required, full balance is due by 18th December. Payments are non-refundable, non-transferable.
Will we be sat together?
We will do our best to sit large groups as close together as possible however this cannot be guaranteed and depends on the set up of the party night venue and capacities at that venue.
Will we be joined with another group?
Our New Year’s Eve Black Tie event at Rafters will take place on tables of 10. Smaller groups may be joined to form one large table.

Can I book Christmas lunch if I am not a hotel guest?
Yes, visitors and hotel guests can book online here.
Can I visit the Hotel on Christmas Day if I am not a hotel guest?
All of our hotels are open on Christmas Day to those who have a pre-booked reservation for either lunch or accommodation.
Will Santa be visiting the restaurants on Christmas Day?
Yes, Santa will be visiting selected venues. Please see event website page for timings where applicable.

What is the dress code for Christmas Day Lunch?
Please note a dress code applies to the following Resort Hotel restaurants:
Steak on Six – Guests are required to wear smart casual clothing when dining at Steak on Six. Smart denim is allowed, but ripped denim, shorts, sports trainers, flip flops, Baseball hats rugby or football shirts and tracksuits are not permitted.
Rafters – Guests are required to wear smart casual clothing when dining at Rafters. Whilst smart denim is perfectly acceptable, sports trainers, flip flops, baseball caps, rugby or football shirts, and tracksuits are not permitted.
Is there a minimum age to attend?
Guests must be age 18 or over to attend any Party Night at The Celtic Manor Resort.

Are there shuttle bus transfers for those staying at a different hotel than their party night?
Complimentary shuttle bus transfers will be running between Tŷ Newport, Coldra Court Hotel and Celtic Manor Resort intermittently between 6pm and 1am on Christmas Party Nights. Please ask reception for further details.

How do I book Accommodation? Is there a discount?
Party night bedroom rates are available on our website. Please book online using the promotion code PARTYNT. Subject to availability.
What are your payment terms?
£10 non-refundable deposit per person required at the time of booking, with the full balance due 6 weeks prior. We are not able to provisionally hold places at any of our parties, and we cannot accept part payments.
Will we be sat together?

How strict is the black tie dress code?
We ask that our guests respect the black tie theme to this party night and attend wearing dinner suits and cocktail dresses. Clothing does not have to be black, but does need to be suitable to the theme.
Can I purchase drink tokens?
Drinks can be ordered to the table using a QR code, or from the bar.
Can I visit to see the venue before I book my party night?
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate site visits or show arounds of the venues prior to booking.
Can you send me an email with all the information on a party night in?
Please refer to our Christmas Party Night page and select your chosen party night for all available details.

I don’t drink. Will there be non-alcoholic options available?
Yes, we will provide a non-alcoholic alternative at all of our party nights.

Domes On Rooftop Terrace
Please be aware that children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the domes unless accompanied by a dining adult.
Where are the Domes located?
Our Domes are located on the Rooftop Terrace at Celtic Manor Resort. On arrival at the lobby, please head downstairs to Health Club level, then follow signs for Drinks at the Domes.
What are your payment terms?
A £20 deposit per dome is required at the time of booking. Remaining amount due 6 weeks prior to the event if it hasn’t been paid in full during the time of booking. Payments are non-refundable, non-transferable.
Domes Reservations
We would respectfully ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your booking and to arrive to the Rooftop Terrace allocated in the lobby area. Your reservation will be held for 15 minutes, after which time it may be released to other guests. Please be advised that during busy periods tables may be required more than once during service.
Special Dietary Requirements
It is essential that we are notified of any specific dietary requirements prior to your visit to ensure that we can cater for you appropriately. If you have not informed us at the point of booking. Please call us on 01633 410 534 or email domes@celtic-collection.com discuss your requirements with a member of the team.
Accessibility
All of our domes are suitable for wheelchair users. On arrival to the Resort Hotel, please head towards The Forum Café double doors on the Health Club level (HC), then turn right where you will be greeted by a member of the team and they will show you to your dome.
Dress Code
Guests are required to wear warm, smart casual clothing when dining at Drinks at the Domes.

We welcome everyone, regardless of their requirements. Some of our venues have limited disabled access. If you require assistance, please inform us beforehand. If we cannot accommodate the requirements at your chosen event, we will endeavour to arrange an alternative venue.
Please note: The location for the Masquerade Ball party night, the Augusta Suite, is only accessible via stairs and has no guest lift.
